Something Random
Something really random......
BROKEN TRUST
Paradise woman,
Blow your hades wrath,
Scorching words,
Bitter eyes,
Screaming to avoid the truth,
Of your whispered lies.
EXISTENTIAL TEARS
Heaven sent,
love mothered,
born of good,
fathered by wisdom,
married to mystery,
nature of man...
why do you weep ?
EYE OF THE BEHOLDER
How be these twisted lenses,
the birth of our regrets,
distorted illusions,
securities pretense,
As if it was a friend of ours . . .
when we knew it as a lover.
We saw our own dishonesty,
relatives of an impulsive past,
Yet still we are of our own undoing,
blaming others on our paths,
with gifts full of obligation,
guilt wagons for future woes.
LOST INNOCENCE
Who could believe that within such a flower ...
there could be such danger,
who could believe that within such trust ...
there could be such terror,
who could believe that within such care ...
there could be such hurt,
who could believe that within such softness ...
there could be so much hard,
who could believe that within such love ...
there could be so much confusion,
who could believe ?
who ?
PRETENSE
Is the self same honesty,
with which you sleep at night,
the same as the words you give to others,
in your social light ?
Laughing in the limelight.....
kissing in the dark,
living in the lightning,
yet trembling in the dark.
SECRET ADMIRATION
Waif across the water,
Soul across the room,
Smile across the solitude,
You glow like heavens moon.
UNCERTAINTY
I’m anxious cos I love you,
but lose you all the time,
All I want is to hold you,
and know that you are mine.
I’m angry at my agony,
dissatisfied with despair,
yet I know I cannot run from you,
because I take you everywhere.
Obvious Secret Admiration
Your hair tumbles into your
face
As you look down in shame
tears form without a
scapegoat to blame
you're so pretty when you
play your game
Yet your unemcumbered saddness
is always the same
beautiful when you spin
and came
who could possibly delight at
your name?
Look into the mirror and wonder
honestly
who else could have shaken off
your modesty
sunlight shimmers in your
brown eyes
and painting under
your pallid disguise
you wonder if everyone sees what
I recognize
